STON - DUBROVNIK
Stone, Salt & UNESCO Heritage
The day begins in Ston, home to the historic salt pans — among the oldest still active in Europe — and the impressive Ston Walls, often described as the longest preserved fortification system in Europe after the Great Wall of China.
A walk through the town and a visit to the saltworks offer insight into the region’s maritime and defensive history.
Continuing south, we arrive in Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where guests explore the old town, Stradun and historic harbor at a relaxed pace.
Leaving the city behind, a stop at the Trsteno Arboretum provides a calm, green contrast before returning along the coast.
